Lola Rennt

In the beginning of the film I thought it was extremely weird and "out there" so to speak.  Throughout the film it continued to get even weirder and I wasn't sure what to think.  The replay of the scenes didn't really make sense to me and throughout the whole movie I wasn't sure what the plot was.  Overall the movie did not interest me.  I found it hard to watch and boring at some points.  It was hard to follow a long in what they were trying to accomplish in the movie and still I'm not sure what the message was.  The effect of the movie I felt changed every single time the scene was replayed again. I thought the movie was very scattered and did not have a lot of emotion.  I feel in order to have a great movie you need to put emotion into every scene of the movie to keep your audience engaged.  I'm not sure I would recommend this film to a friend. It could be that my taste in movies is a lot different than others and that's why I didn't find it as interesting.  If I was to say what the message was in the film I would guess that it was if you love some one enough, you will be willing to do anything for them. Overall I wouldn't say the movie was terrible, but it wasn't the most intriguing movie I have ever seen. I thought the storyline was predictable and it became a bit tedious to watch the same scene over and over again.  Someone who enjoys German movies would probably enjoy this movie, but it just wasn't the movie for me.
