Lola rennt

When I first started to watch the movie, I thought it was a really weird movie. I didn't think that I would enjoy it and that it was going to be a very long hour. The music and animations at the beginning were both different and strange, and i started basing my opinion off of those. However, as the film went on I got more into it and I was curious to see how it was going to end. So my opinion definitely did change throughout the course of the movie. It was still a strange movie but it got better as it went on I liked how they kept repeating the same scenes, but with different outcomes. It made the movie more suspenseful because the whole time I kept wondering who was going to get hurt or if they would get the money in the end. I did not expect the ending of the first scene, and I was really happy that the day was repeated so there could be a different course of action. It was also cool how there was different choices they could make, and that would change the course of someone's life. It definitely worked well with this movie, because the first couple of choices Manni and Lola made were very bad. I think the statement the filmmakers were trying to make is that any choice you have can have a huge affect on others, even if we do not think it will. That would explain why Manni and Lola had so many chances to fix their mistakes. They kept making bad choices that hurt themselves and others, because they thought they had no other options. In the end they made the right choices for themselves, and they got to walk away unharmed from all the days events, even though some other people were not so lucky. It also helped with the repeating scenes because we got to see the characters who were truly bad people, like Lola's dad, and we got to see what happened to them as well. I did think it was kind of weird how one part of the whole film was animated, Lola running down the stairs, it could have been normal and it still would have worked. I think that I would recommend this film to others. They would probably think what I did at first, but it really was a good film. The filmmakers really knew how to use the element of suspense to their advantage. The film ended up being something interesting I think others would really enjoy as well. I may never watch it again, but i'm glad I got to watch it the first time.
